Blind Channel is a nu-metal band from Oulu, Finland. The original line up included five members (Joel Hokka, Niko Moilanen, Joonas Porko, Olli Matela, Tommi Lalli) until 2020, when Aleksi ‘Alex Mattson’ Kaunisvesi officially joined the band as sixth member. On 2025, Blind Channel announced that they had parted ways with singer Joel Hokka.
Blind Channel has always called their music “violent pop”, name that has been invented by vocalist Niko (as well as their band name and logo) to describe their music style. According to the band, their music doesn’t fit in in only one genre, but it’s a combination of various genres and styles, ranging from heavy riffs to electronic as well to melodic pop notes.
